The Commander installation at BBC News Centre in London links over 800 journalists, editors, presenters and engineers with external connections to remote news bureaux, outside broadcasts and other BBC facilities worldwide. In India many of the private and state broadcasters use a combination of Mercury IP communications and matrix based systems to join facilities in Delhi, Mumbai and elsewhere. In the US, Hearst Argyle use Mercury IP comms to support their centralcasting facilities at some 26 locations.
