Trilogy CABSAT 2014 Preview

Issued January 2014

Trilogy Communications, a trusted global provider of high quality intercom systems and SPGs for TV studios, mobile production, playout and post will feature enhancements to its Messenger intercom system at CABSAT 2014.

Messenger is an entry level yet powerful matrix-based intercom that includes the comprehensive features and functionality typically only found in far more expensive systems.

Trilogy Director of Business Development Mark Ellis said, “Messenger addresses a specific need by removing the constraints of low-end, two-wire party line systems, but at a cost far lower than high-end professional broadcast communication systems. The new improvements to the Messenger package make it easier to install, simpler to use and even more cost effective. The package is equally at home in small scale installations or highly demanding multi-studio applications.”

Also at CABSAT will be Gemini, Trilogy’s distributed matrix intercom and IP panel range. Designed to satisfy the needs of broadcast and professional media markets, Gemini combines in each unit the benefits of a large-scale, non-blocking matrix with integrated IP connectivity.

Trilogy will also feature improvements to its class-leading Mentor XL Master Reference Generator, which provides independently timed SD and HD references with appropriate test signals to resolve specific system design challenges. Mentor XL includes enhanced features that utilise 3G, GPS and even PTP for distribution of all synchronisation and timing references for those with IP-compliant networks.
